At age 22, Chicago native Kymm! Bang emerged as a fixture artist of a popular lowbrow gallery and never looked back. Throughout the following decades her “futuristically retro” designs have been featured in tiki bars, galleries, television shows, museums, magazines, and personal collections around the world.

Previously known for her saucy pin-up imagery, Kymm! is currently renowned for her work as the premier Gravel Art Revivalist, creating distinctive pieces of Poly-Pop and Modern Kitsch. Lately, she has been revisiting her love of jewelry design, and decorating the tiki masses in her signature pieces.  You can also adorn your cocktails with one of her clever AF swizzles.

I grew up in Asheville, NC completely oblivious to my own Pacific heritage. This gave me motivation to move to Hawaii to go to school and learn and work and the Polynesian Cultural Center. While at the PCC, I performed in several different venues such as the cultural villages and fire show. Now that I have moved back to the mainland, I keep my cultural heritage alive by performing and carving.

Handmade tropical jewelry featuring real orchid blossoms! The graceful and exotic orchid flower represents powerful concepts like luxury and strength. In designing her pieces, Sheley uses hand-preserved orchid blossoms to communicate the magic of Bali and the feeling of blissful freedom. 

These orchid focal pieces are sourced from Chiang Mai, Thailand, where they're sustainably cultivated in an orchid and butterfly sanctuary, which Sheley personally visited in 2012. Craftspeople at the sanctuary preserve each flower individually by using a process that can take weeks to complete. She hopes the tropical treasures will inspire you to also daydream of warm weather and crystal-clear waters.

 A through-the-looking glass amalgam of the quirky characters that have inhabited Warner’s imagination since youth and rooted in the carnivalesque wonder of the late 60s, 70s and early 80s. H.C. Warner has worked extensively over the years in the mediums of painting, print design, screen printing, murals, commercial exterior, interior conceptualization and design, sculpture and film. In addition to his formal training in art, he has gained significant knowledge and experience from the relationships he has developed with working artists. From 1998 to 2000 he earned his start curating a monthly series of solo artist exhibitions entitled “ArtChanges” highlighting diversity and local talent in Atlanta. During the past 20 years, his work has been seen displayed throughout Atlanta’s restaurants, shops, nightclubs and design houses throughout Atlanta. From 2003 to 2011 he owned and operated Alcove Gallery, producing monthly shows, designing and building installations in the heart of one of Atlanta’s most art-centric boroughs. Aside from his painting/sculpture compositions, “Munkeytown” and “The Secret Lives of Parasites” are two among the many of his latest projects presently emerging into the art world.

Freda Nichols grew up in Marietta, Georgia and has been collecting art and antiques for years.  Dave “Basement Kahuna” Wolfe is an original first wave tiki revival character, one of the earliest Tiki Central members from 2002, Hukilau staffer through the golden heyday of the event from 2003-2016, and creator and builder of tiki for 22 years.
