Over the past 25 years, Rob has worked with filmmaker Oliver Stone and produced Stone’s documentaries including The Untold History of the United States, South of the Border, and The Putin Interviews.  He co-produced Stone’s feature film Snowden and Jim Jarmusch’s documentary Gimme Danger on the legendary band The Stooges.  Most recently, he produced Stone’s JFK Revisited, Nuclear Now, and co-directed with Stone the documentary Lula, a portrait of Brazilian President Lula da Silva, which premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. 

Marie King is an internationally recognized rum and tropical cocktail specialist with 30+ years in hospitality.  She joined 23 Restaurant Services in 2023, where she’s creating the cocktail program for the new Don the Beachcomber and Gannt’s Reserve Collection locations.  Previously Marie was the Beverage Director for Tonga Hut, and before that she established the first new Don the Beachcomber cocktail program in decades at the former Huntington Beach location.

Justin is the art director for Don the Beachcomber. He's the artist and writer of the “underground indie graphic novel sensation” VERY NEAR MINT, a comic about a comic book shop. I’ve self-published three volumes and a companion book of VNM between 2011 and 2014. A collected edition was released in summer of 2016.  I was the muralist for TIJUANA FLATS, a tex-mex restaurant concept based out of Orlando, FL. Over 8 years, I painted nearly 100 murals in 6 states.  I’m also an illustrator for MAD Magazine.   I work almost entirely digital, using Manga Studio 5, Photoshop, Illustrator, an iMac that’s sort of dying, and a 22HD Wacom Cintiq.

Dawn Mahealani Douglas is a Polynesian dancer with traditional training at a halau on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.  In this workshop, you will explore the history of Polynesian dances, instruments, and costumes.  Also, try learning a hula or picking up an instrument yourself!
