If you want your room on a lower floor, then choose the option low floor near elevator on the personalize your stay page.  They will assign your room to the two floors above the atrium (might not be near elevator since there will be a ton of requests).  There is also a interior atrium balcony request if the room type you choose has them.   If your room type does not have these options then they will not show up on the list of things to choose.
