When The Frigidaires started as a unit in 2009, rehearsals and shows were simply a vehicle to hang out every week. We've heard em for years, and are friends with a bunch of the members; looking forward to hearing them as part of Inuhele Saturday night!
They're fresh of a tour in Europe, so we wanted to let them tell you about it in their own words:
Playing the Surfer Joe Festival in Livorno, Italy this year was a dream come true. We simply never thought our career would take us there. Opening for our heroes Slacktone and The Phantom Surfers and then joining our friends from across the surf community in our first international show proved to us that there is really no better music scene than the surf community. Lorenzo's kindness towards us from start to finish in this festival cannot be overstated.
What we saw throughout the rest of Italy, however, was proof that this was not a fluke. Through Rome, Pisa, Florence, and, mostly, Livorno, we encountered the best people, the best food, the best art, and, ultimately, the best culture in the world. We cannot wait to return.
It's said that, to have a successful band, you've got to have two of three things: a good hang, good music, and/or good money. It's safe to say, after 15 years, we've got two of those. It's not hard to figure out which.

Straight from the strip of Vegas, just South of Memphis, and across the Georgia State Line via New Jersey, this is ELZIG!
Thank Ya. Thank Ya, very much!

Formed from the ashes of the Atlanta horror punk legends, the Spectremen, Dan Kelly's (ELZIG) new vision consists of bringing the neon lights of the Vegas strip with a bucket of a Deep Southern graveyard dirt.
From the golden age of rock and roll, the pogo of punk rock, the head banging of heavy metal, a tear in a beer country, slow dance/couple skate ballads, all with a hint of southern gospel, an ELZIG concert covers it all.
Mondo Hammondo is the exotica brainchild of Matthew Kaminsky, famous in Atlanta (and everywhere!) as the Braves Organist! In addition to a day job as a musician who performs for a crowd of 40,000 people at least 81 times a year (he plays at all the Atlanta Braves MLB home games) Matthew keeps himself busy in a variety of different musical situations. He’s a member of a Latin Salsa orchestra called Orquesta MaCuba, plays accordion for a western swing band called Back in the Saddle, and leads a polka band called The Georgia Polka Connection by singing, playing the accordion and the organ. Throughout his performing career, Kaminski has shared the stage with notable jazz musicians: Dave Stryker, Don Braden, Kimberly Gordon, Henry Johnson, George Fludas, Greg Rockingham, Kyle Asche, Howard Paul, Bruce Forman, Jeff Hamilton, Leon Joyce Jr., Grant Green Jr., Gwen Hughes, Russell Gunn, Ethan Phillion, Jason Miller, Alphonso Ponticelli, Annie Sellick, and Pat Bergeson. Matthew also had the pleasure of performing with many notable musicians in other genres including: The Drifters, Puddles Pity Party, m.o.e., John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band), The Yacht Rock Revue, Tim Smith, Ruby Velle, Blair Crimmins, John McCutcheon, Chuck Brodsky, Alex Meixner, and Oliver Wood (The Wood Brothers).
Kaminski is proud to have been chosen as a Hammond Organ/Leslie Speaker Artist. He performs regularly on the Hammond SK1, SK2 (which is the organ Matthew plays at Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves), XK3, and Leslie 21 System speakers.

Ted Jorin and three wisecracking animatronic parrots named Lucky, Lefty and Big Red steal the show as The Honolulu Millionaires.
The band also includes humans Brian Wentland on drums, Joe Vent on slide guitar, Matt Krajewski on bass and Ted’s younger brother, Tyler Jorin, on keyboard. They started playing around 2018, regularly performing at Trader Nick’s, a tiki bar in Cudahy, WI. The group’s main repertoire is performing classics by acts like Don Ho and the Mills Brothers.
3 animatronic birds with a 5 piece backup band. Thrill to the sounds of Milwaukee's only Hawaiian band with singing birds. When asked how long the group has been together, Jorin thinks and says, “I don’t know … five years?”
“C’mon Ted, do some math,” Lucky squawks in reply.
