Although she’s a newcomer to the tiki scene, Heather has always had an appreciation
for the tropical side of life (and drinks). For the last 4 years she’s been shaking up
cocktails at Atlanta’s own S.O.S. Tiki Bar and has been serving as the bar manager
since February of this year. From mixing up Mai Tais to crafting up her own original
creations, Heather brings her colorful vision and a theatrical flair to everything she does
behind the bar. She dove headfirst into the curious world of rum where she gets to flex
her knowledge of exotic spirits and cocktail curation while still leaning into the creative
side of tiki libations. No garnish is too extravagant, fantastic or flamboyant. Catch her
this weekend where she’ll guide you as you dream up whimsical cocktail adornments of
your own. And if you stop by S.O.S. make sure to say aloha!

Thom Wheaton and David Kiser first met under the big top of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, where a shared sense of adventure sparked a lifelong shared journey. Away from the circus lights, they discovered a mutual passion for all things Tiki—collecting art, décor, and ephemera that celebrate the mid-century Polynesian pop aesthetic.
When the world slowed during the pandemic, Thom and David turned to a new creative outlet: LEGO building. What began as a pastime quickly became a way to merge their two great loves—LEGO and Tiki—into playful, intricate creations that blend imagination, craftsmanship, and whimsy.
Today, their work reflects a unique artistic journey that started with the circus and has evolved into vibrant tiki-inspired LEGO builds that capture both nostalgia and innovation. Together, they continue to explore how storytelling, design, and fun can come to life, one brick at a time.
